TYLER, Texas, Sept. 8, 2026 – Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) BB #:130335 is excited to announce the successful completion of its third annual Supplies for Schools donation drive, raising more than $313,000 to support local schools across its communities, more than doubling last year’s total.
The funds will be distributed directly to schools served by BGC stores and used to help provide essential school supplies and resources for students during the 2026-27 school year.
Through the campaign, customers at Brookshire’s, Super 1 Foods, Spring Market, FRESH by Brookshire’s, Reasor’s and FRESH by Reasor’s stores donated at checkout to support schools in their local communities.
The annual campaign reflects BGC’s ongoing commitment to investing in education and helping students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.
“Education is one of the most important investments we can make in our communities,” said Jerry LeClair, CEO of BGC. “Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, employee-partners and communities, these funds will help ensure students have the supplies and resources they need for a successful school year.”
All donations will remain in the communities where they were raised, and local schools will directly benefit from the campaign’s impact, helping teachers and students throughout BGC’s market areas.
