U.S. claims top destination for Peruvian limes first half of 2025

The top destination market for fresh limes from Peru in the first five months of this year was the United States, which accounted for 33 percent of the total, followed by the Netherlands with 19 percent, Spain with 15 percent, and all others at 33 percent.
In the 2025 period analyzed, the main exporter of this fruit was Trapani Cultivares Perú S.A.C., with a 23 percent share. Eosta B.V. was the main buyer, representing 9 percent.
Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos, with 94 percent of the total, was the main shipping terminal for fresh limes from January to May of this year, followed by DP World with a 6 percent share.
