SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA — November 4, 2026 — Vesta Foodservice BB #:125924 today announced it has completed the acquisition of the Peddler’s Son BB #:147148 business, expanding its investment in Arizona and bringing together two established foodservice distributors with longstanding customer and supplier relationships in the market.
Vesta has served the Phoenix market since 2001 and opened a new distribution facility there in 2021. The acquisition marks another significant investment in Arizona as Vesta celebrates 25 years serving the region’s foodservice community.
“Arizona has been an important part of our business for 25 years, and we’re incredibly excited about its future,” said Jin Ju Wilder, CEO of Vesta Foodservice.
“We’ve continued to invest here because we believe in the people, businesses, and growing foodservice community. Peddler’s Son has built meaningful relationships in this market, and we respect what its team has accomplished. Together, we see an opportunity to build on those relationships, expand what we can offer customers, and continue earning their trust every day.”
Peddler’s Son has served Arizona customers through established local relationships and market knowledge. Vesta plans to build on that foundation with its fresh produce, dairy, specialty, and value-added assortment, existing distribution infrastructure, and high-touch service approach. The combination is intended to create additional opportunities to serve restaurants, hospitality businesses, and other foodservice customers across the region.
Over the coming months, Vesta plans to transition Peddler’s Son operations into its existing Phoenix distribution facility in phases. The companies will continue coordinating with customers and suppliers during the transition and will communicate operational changes directly as plans are finalized.
