SALINAS, CA (November 2, 2026) — Inteligistics, a provider of digital supply chain and cold chain visibility solutions for fresh produce, today announced InteliView Harvest-to-Cool: Sold, received, cooled, ready to ship: one clear view.

The new solution targets the hours produce spends warm before cooling begins, when shelf life and quality are most at risk. It will be available January 1 to growers, shippers and coolers that run Famous Software’s ERP and warehouse management system, with support for other platforms to follow.

InteliView Harvest-to-Cool includes two distinct applications. Receive-to-Cool, launching first, tracks and times every pallet from the moment it is received and tagged to the moment cooling starts.

Harvest-to-Receive, now in development, will extend that visibility back to the field, so growers and shippers can see and manage the full cut-to-cool timeline for every load. The data can be integrated into Inteligistics’ Enterprise Suite, which provides full visibility and management of the perishable supply chain.

Helps companies achieve cooling targets

Most cooling operations set a target for how quickly product must start cooling after it arrives, often 1.5-3.0 hours. Until now, few have had a reliable way to see which pallets are about to miss it so they can stay on track.

A review of receiving and cooling records shows how wide that gap can be. Over two production days at one cooling site, 2,294 pallets had a median wait time from receiving to cooling of 95 minutes. Yet one in five pallets waited more than three hours for cooling to start. The slowest 10% of pallets waited more than five and a half hours, at which point product degradation has already begun.

Receive-to-Cool: every pallet on the clock

Receive-to-Cool starts timing each pallet when its tag is generated at receiving, and counts down to the site’s cooling target. It goes further than existing InteliCool, InteliField and InteliTrack providing reporting and tracking. Customizable alerts give crews and supervisors visibility and control into every pallet, while color-coded displays call attention to product that has been received but not yet cooled.

It also connects the cooler floor to the sales side of the business. Because Receive-to-Cool ties to sales estimates and orders, managers can see in one place how much product has been sold, how much is estimated to be available each day, and how much has already been received to fill those orders.

Key capabilities include:

  • Live countdown of every pallet received, longest on the floor first, refreshing every 30 seconds. Pallets turn amber with 30 minutes left and red once the target passes.
  • On-floor view that shows the crew which pallets go into the cooler next.
  • Alerts by email and text when a pallet passes its target, with escalation if cooling still hasn’t started.
  • Complete history when connected to InteliCool with receive-to-cool time, cycle time, temperatures in and out, and whether each pallet met its target.
  • Received vs. estimate reporting, lot by lot, so supply gaps are visible early in the day.
  • Lag time analytics that show how long each tube, tunnel, ice injector and shower sits idle between cycles, separating capacity problems from throughput problems.
  • Every cooling method on one clock: vacuum tubes and forced-air tunnels are timed automatically by InteliCool, while liquid ice and water shower cooling are recorded in the InteliView mobile app.
  • English and Spanish on every screen, with phone and tablet layouts for checking the board on the floor.

An InteliCool enhancement that also stands alone

InteliView Harvest-to-Cool is an add-on to InteliCool, Inteligistics’ patented pre-cooling monitoring and optimization system, and will be included in Inteligistics’ Enterprise Suite. Together, they give operators a complete record of each pallet, from receiving through the end of the cooling cycle, built from data InteliCool sites already collect. Operations without InteliCool can use Receive-to-Cool on its own to track pallets from receiving to the start of cooling.

“Our customers have told us the clock doesn’t start when the cooler door closes. It starts when the product is harvested,” said Lawrence Mallia, VP of AI Strategy and Product Solutions at Inteligistics. “Receive-to-Cool puts every pallet on that clock the moment it’s received, so the crew knows what goes in next and managers can see whether today’s receipts will cover today’s orders. Harvest-to-Cool will take on the harder part, identifying product in the field before it ever has a pallet tag.”

“Since we started using InteliCool, we’ve seen great gains in our cooling efficiency, and the Inteligistics team has been very responsive,” said Lina Gomez, Director of Finance at PIM and Affiliates (Pacific International Marketing). “When we told them we knew some product was sitting in the yard longer than our three-hour target, they didn’t just listen. They asked for our input and brought us into the design of the solution. We look forward to putting it to work.”

Harvest-to-Cool: next, the field

Receive-to-Cool measures only part of the time produce spends warm. Harvest-to-Receive, the second product under InteliView Harvest-to-Cool, is designed to capture the time from when fresh products are harvested in the field to when they are loaded into the cooler.

That is the harder task. Most operations don’t generate pallet tags until product reaches the cooler yard, so harvest time, location and crew details are lost or stay on paper. Harvest-to-Receive will give field crews a simple mobile tool to record each load at harvest and carry that record to the cooler, where it links to pallets as they are received.

In addition, this will provide complete FSMA 204 traceability records, with the ability to track product temperature from field to customer DC. Inteligistics is developing Harvest-to-Receive with input from customers and will announce availability at a later date.
