Dollar Tree to return to Oklahoma with enhanced distribution center after tornado
Dollar Tree, Inc. announced plans for Dollar Tree operations to return to Marietta, OK with a new, enhanced distribution center.
April 24, 2025 CHESAPEAKE, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dollar Tree, Inc. BB #:377981 today announced plans for Dollar Tree operations to return to Marietta, OK with a new, enhanced distribution center.
The new facility replaces the previous distribution center which was one of many structures in the Marietta community destroyed by a tornado in April 2024.
The one million sq. ft. facility, which is anticipated to be fully operational by spring 2027, will have the capacity to serve 700 Dollar Tree stores across the West and Southwest regions of the U.S. With new and improved technological advancements, the distribution center will be temperature-controlled with a high level of mechanization, including high speed sortation, designed to improve overall efficiency.
