The Spring 2026 edition was our most exciting yet! The program grew from 170 recognized companies to 237 and expanded from 19 commodity categories to 30 — and across every category that carried over from the prior edition, the #1 ranking changed hands. Every single one!

The Best in Blue Book Awards spotlights the top ~1 percent of produce companies across key commodity categories — evaluated on verified performance depth, consistent payment practices, and data-backed trading reliability. No applications. No fees. Just performance.

Why This Edition Is Different

Fall 2026 isn’t just a re-run of the same 12 months on a new calendar. Three things are true of every edition, and one thing is new:

• The clock resets. Every eligible company gets re-evaluated on its trailing 12 months — reputation from two editions ago doesn’t carry forward.
• Improvement gets rewarded immediately. If your Trading Practices, Pay Performance, and Blue Book Credit Score have strengthened since spring, that progress shows up now, not next year.
• Spring honorees aren’t grandfathered in. They keep their recognition until fall results publish, but as the numbers above make clear, that’s no guarantee of anything.
