Brookshire Grocery Company names new CEO

TYLER, Texas – Aug. 24, 2026 — Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) BB #:130335 today announced the appointment of Jerry LeClair as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

LeClair has served as Interim CEO since February 2026 while continuing to oversee the Company’s retail operations, category management, marketing, fuel, pharmacy, logistics and facility services teams.

LeClair joined BGC in 2019 as Executive Vice President – Chief Merchant Officer and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2025. Since joining the Company, he has played a key role in strengthening operations and enhancing the customer experience across BGC’s family of stores.

With more than 40 years of grocery industry experience, LeClair has held senior leadership positions with several respected food retailers. Prior to joining BGC, he served in executive leadership roles with Giant Eagle and Harris Teeter after beginning his career with Albertsons, where he advanced from courtesy clerk to District Manager. He is a graduate of Wingate University in North Carolina.
