United Natural Foods, Inc. Announces Halie O’Shea as Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy

United Natural Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq: UNFI) (the “Company”) today announced that Halie O’Shea has joined the Company as Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy, effective immediately. Ms. O’Shea will be responsible for all aspects of investor relations and corporate strategy, working closely with the executive management team.

Ms. O’Shea has over fifteen years of finance, investment and capital markets experience. She spent over ten years with Turner Investments, most recently as a Global Security Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Prior to that, she served as an Equity Research Associate Analyst focused on the food and beverage industry at Janney Capital Markets.

Ms. O’Shea will report directly to Mike Zechmeister, Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Zechmeister commented, “Halie has a high level of familiarity with our company and sales channels, and we’re excited to have her join our team. She brings a valuable perspective, having previously held both buy-side and sell-side financial analysis roles. We look forward to her leading our interaction with the investment community and further building on our corporate strategy efforts as we execute on our opportunities for growth over the next several years.”

Ms. O’Shea holds a BS in Journalism from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
