August 18, 2026 Keasbey, N.J. – ShopRite is celebrating its 75th anniversary with two weeks of special savings, digital offers and promotions for the customers, families and communities that have supported the brand for generations.

The milestone honors ShopRite’s long-standing commitment to local ownership, service and community connection.

The 75th anniversary celebration will take place during the sale weeks of August 16 and August 23, featuring anniversary-themed promotions, digital deals and limited-time offers at participating ShopRite stores. Customers will find low prices on favorite items, with featured sale prices ending in .75 in a nod to the milestone year.

Founded in 1951 by a small group of independent New Jersey grocers in the Wakefern Food Corp. BB #:101244 cooperative, ShopRite has grown into one of the region’s most recognized supermarket brands while staying rooted in local ownership, community commitment and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Over the years, ShopRite has also helped local and regional suppliers grow alongside its member-owned stores, from neighborhood bakeries and specialty food producers to family cattle farmers whose products have found a home on ShopRite shelves. Customers can learn more about these longtime supplier partners at ShopRite 75th Anniversary.

“For 75 years, ShopRite stores have been family-owned and operated by grocers who live and work in the communities they serve,” said Darren Caudill, Chief Sales Officer of Wakefern Food Corp. “That local connection has always been at the heart of ShopRite — helping families find more value in every shopping trip, supporting neighborhoods and showing up for customers generation after generation. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone by thanking our customers with the savings, service and quality they continue to count on every day.”

During the week of August 16, customers can kick off ShopRite’s 75th anniversary celebration with special savings on select Bowl & Basket, Paperbird, Well Everyday and Wholesome Pantry products through an Own Brands digital coupon offer. Shoppers who purchase $75 or more of participating Own Brands products will receive $25 off their total purchase. Customers must download the digital coupon before checkout to redeem the offer from August 16 through August 22.

Customers can also take advantage of a special Three-Day Super Sale running Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22. Featured sale prices will end in .75, with savings on a variety of customer favorites, including eggs, produce, pantry staples, snacks, cookies, ice cream and Italian sausage.

The celebration continues during the sale week of August 23 with a special Digital Doorbusters sale and circular wrap featuring 18 digital coupons on popular items, with sale prices ending in .75.

Beyond the savings, ShopRite will mark its 75-year history by sharing stories, recipes and reflections at ShopRite 75th Anniversary | Celebrating 75 Years of Serving Our Communities. Anniversary content will also appear in stores, on ShopRite’s social media channels, and through local radio and television advertising, inviting customers to celebrate the milestone and share their own ShopRite memories.
