In the fifth week of this Peruvian avocado campaign, there were a total of 2,093 tons exported, reflecting an increase of 47 percent compared to the same week last season.

With this, the accumulated volume of the current campaign reached 7,149 tons, which is 11 percent higher than in 2022, as reported by Freshfruit.
Shipments have been made by seas, with one of the main ports being Callao, representing 70 percent of all shipments. Paita was No.2, having shipped 2,152 tons, or 30 percent.
The main destinations were the Netherlands with a decrease of 13 percent compared to the previous season, followed by China, having tripled its imports of Peruvian avocado, and Russia with a decrease of 12 percent. The U.S. came in fourth having received 633 tons.
