Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce name new CEO

LOS ANGELES, CA — Pacific Trellis Fruit BB #:164166 and Progressive Produce BB #:113613 is pleased to announce the appointment of Rodolfo Spielmann as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 28.

Spielmann joins Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce with more than three decades of leadership experience across the food, agriculture, fresh produce and consumer products industries.

Most recently, he served as President and CEO of NatureSweet, one of the most recognized brands in fresh produce. He has also held senior leadership roles at Del Monte Foods, Mars, Central Garden & Pet and Procter & Gamble.

Throughout his career, Spielmann has built strong teams, strengthened customer partnerships, driven growth across a range of business environments, and helped organizations capitalize on new opportunities.

In his new role, Spielmann will lead Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce through its next chapter, building on the company’s strong foundation and continued commitment to delivering high-quality service and reliability to its customers, growers, vendors, and partners.

Spielmann’s appointment follows the retirement of Marty Kamer from his role as CEO. Kamer has made significant contributions to Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce, helping shape the organization into the company it is today. Kamer will remain with Pacific Trellis Fruit and Progressive Produce in an advisory capacity for the next few months to help ensure a smooth transition and provide continuity as Spielmann steps into his role.
