List of Kroger store closures emerge

In the Kroger Co.’s BB #:100073 first quarter 2025 financial results last week, the retailer announced plans to close about 60 stores in the next 18 months.

Kroger said it expects a financial benefit with the closures, noting, “Kroger is committed to reinvesting these savings back into the customer experience, and as a result, this will not impact full-year guidance. Kroger will offer roles in other stores to all associates currently employed at affected stores,” it said in a press release.

The retailer has not released the locations for the closures, but USA Today compiled a list through various media reports and labor union disclosures.

Here’s a list of known closures as of June 27, 2025:

Georgia
