Markon Cooperative BB #:123315 From the Field report
January 23, 2023 — The Arizona and California desert growing region experienced low morning temperatures that dipped into the low-to mid-30°s, causing widespread lettuce ice to form over the weekend.
Currently, the desert growing region is experiencing strong wind gusts of up to 45 MPH that will bring more lettuce ice events the rest of the week. Harvesting and loading delays can be expected.
