MCALLEN, Texas (May 27, 2026) – EV Produce International BB #:354806, the specialist in year-round, high-quality Mexican limes and chayote, has launched a new brand called “FAMILIME,” to coincide with its peak lime availability from May to July and its connection to family.
Packs are now available in supermarkets nationwide.
Aimed at helping its products stand out in retail produce departments, the FAMILIME brand is inviting, bold, and fun, boasting distinctive colorful pink packaging. EV Produce will be showcasing the new FAMILIME packs today through May 29 at the West Coast Produce Expo in Palm Desert, CA.
“The new brand and packaging are very much focused on the family roots of EV Produce, and the fact that we offer a complete supply chain from the orchard or field to the packing house through to delivery to our retail customers,” says Erick Carranza, Vice President of EV Produce. “It features a completely new image with colors that really pop on the shelf and allow us to distinguish what EV offers from other suppliers.”
FAMILIME highlights EV Produce’s commitment as a family-run company to provide premium quality limes 52 weeks a year via its own supply chain, which encompasses orchards, packing houses and distribution centers in the United States and Mexico.
The FAMILIME brand also complements EV’s existing labels, which include FrutaSí Limes, Paty Limes, Rika’s Limes, and Sairi Chayotes.
Supply update
Despite the ongoing drought impacting many regions of northern Mexico, Carranza anticipates strong availability during EV’s peak production season (May-July), alongside steady supply levels for the rest of 2026.
EV’s Mexican lime production is concentrated principally in the region of Martinez de la Torre, Veracruz, as well as Yucatan and Jalisco, allowing the company to deliver year-round availability across distinct zones and climates.
“We have been in business for more than 10 years and are committed to providing competitive prices, timely delivery and excellent customer service,” Carranza says. “Our different production areas around Mexico allow us to have availability throughout the year.”
Headquartered in McAllen, Texas, EV Produce delivers limes and chayotes through its distribution centers in McAllen and in Los Angeles, as well as a repacking facility in Tijuana, Mexico, which serves customers in California.
EV Produce will be exhibiting at the West Coast Produce Expo, Booth B907 from May 27-29.
