CobornsDelivers.com in the Twin Cities will no longer be run by St. Cloud, MN-based Coborns Inc. BB #:167605
The retailer announced United Natural Foods Inc.-owned Cub Foods BB #:158953 is taking over the business, effective August 15.
The Twin Cities-based delivery business operated separately from the company’s brick-and-mortar stores, and delivery serviced by select brick-and-mortar Coborns stores will still be available.
In a statement, Dave Hartmann, general manager said:
“As we plan our future, we’ve decided to make some changes to better match who we are now as a grocery retailer. Our focus will shift to online ordering with curbside pick-up service leveraging our 62 stores, with some limited home delivery services from a few select store locations.”
Starting August 15, CobornsDelivers.com will redirect to Shop.Cub.com.
“Cub has a strong metro area presence and is perfectly positioned to quickly and effectively service your grocery shopping needs.”
