Caitlin Tierney joins Sprouts Farmers Market

MONTEREY, CA – Caitlin Tierney has joined Sprouts Farmers Market BB #:168563 as Senior Director of Innovation.

She was a speaker during an education session on CEA agriculture Sept. 16 at the Organic Produce Summit.

During the session, she said, “I think there’s ways we can scope produce, change produce, elevate produce,” and that would be one of the goals in her new position.

Tierney was most recently new business director at Mastronardi Produce BB #:115453, having joined in January, but spent most of her career in produce buying roles. She worked for 99 Cents Only Stores for five years and also worked for Fresh & Easy, Fresh Direct and SpartanNash.

She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Fresh Produce & Floral Council and the Board of PMA’s Center for Growing Talent.
