August 10, 2026 FOWLER, CA — As the autumn season approaches, the Bee Sweet Citrus BB #:123033 team is encouraging families to add citrus fruits to their back-to-school routines.

“Easy-peel citrus fruits like mandarins are perfect for the new school season because they’re healthy, delicious, and portable,” noted Director of Communications at Bee Sweet Citrus, Monique Mueller. “With little to no preparation required, they’re an ideal choice for busy families managing numerous school year commitments.”

Currently, Bee Sweet Citrus is managing its summer citrus program, ensuring customers have a year-round supply of fresh citrus varieties. The company is also proudly celebrating more than a decade of partnership with Healthy Family Project, as it sponsors their annual Back-to-School campaign for the 11th consecutive year.

“The back-to-school season is here, and what better way to celebrate than with nutritious snacks and easy recipes,” stated Healthy Family Project Partnership Manager, Tracy Shaw. “This campaign aims to assist families during one of the busiest times of year, and Healthy Family Project is grateful to partners like Bee Sweet Citrus, who have helped us fight food insecurity for over a decade!”

Healthy Family Project’s Back-to-School campaign offers families practical ways to incorporate fresh produce into daily routines. With support from campaign partners, the program is focused on providing busy families with healthy recipes, nutrition tips, and easy snack inspiration.

This year, the campaign brought in $12,000 for the International Fresh Produce Association Foundation for Fresh Produce, helping increase access to fresh produce in schools.

“The back-to-school season often brings a heavier workload as families balance work, school, and extracurricular activities,” Mueller added. “We’re proud to supply our customers with citrus year-round and will continue to support Healthy Family Project’s efforts to combat food insecurity.”
