Albertsons promotes SoCal Director of Fresh to SVP, Marketing & Merchandising

Sheryl Salazar, previous Director of Fresh for Albertsons BB #:193326 and Vons in the company’s Southern California division, has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing and merchandising of the division.

The company said in a LinkedIn post that Salazar started with Albertsons in 1993 as a courtesy clerk, and has held positions in-store and at the division office.

She served as produce sales manager in the SoCal division from 2018 to March 2020, when she assumed the role of Director of Fresh.
